[PCMF 2018 featuring ensemble - Victoria Consort]
Victoria Consort is the only non instrumental ensemble in this festival and they will be performing on the 27th Oct.
Named after Hong Kong’s magnificent harbor, Victoria Consort is a newly formed vocal quartet that aims to bring the most delicate of chamber singing to the city’s audiences. It draws together a group of eminent local singers who relish the unique stylistic and vocal nuances that can only be experienced through ensemble singing.
The Victoria Consort will make their debut in the Prism Chamber Music Festival with their themed concert, 'Clear and Gentle Stream'
That would be an evening of English madrigals and part-songs by Morley, Tomkins, Finzi, Vaughan-Williams, and more. With the music from renaissance to late romantic, the group will bring the audience a magical yet relax evening set in a wonderfully cozy place at the HoSzeKwong.
